At CTW we don’t train and assess are learners then wave them goodbye, we pride ourselves on post training support and encourage our business start ups to actively engage with one another thus creating a support network where ideas are shared and support offered. 

Case Study: Jackie Cobban

Jackie Cobban was trained and assessed and met the required standard to successfully achieve a UKCPAS level 1 and 2 Cleaning Skills Certificates. Jackie’s ambition was to create her own employment and to start her own cleaning business in the Bristol region. Jackie returned to CTW for more specialist carpet, upholstery and hard floor maintenance cleaning training.

Jackie now has a thriving business “Salix Cleaning and Domestic Services” and continues to grow the business with confidence.

I attended CTW on three occasions and received one to one training from Antony, which was exceptional, his knowledge and delivery style immediately put me at ease.

Case Study: Majid Ali

Majid Ali was trained and assessed in specialist carpet, upholstery and hard floor cleaning systems as he wished to launch his cleaning business in Huddersfield.

Majid travelled down and spent two days with us where he learnt the fundamentals of carpet cleaning, maintaining soft furnishings and hard floor maintenance. After the training he felt confident enough to purchase equipment and after a lengthy period being unemployed has now launched his cleaning enterprise “Pay as you go Cleaning”.

Case Study: Jane and Mike Green

Jane and Mike Green continue to go from strength to strength.

Jane and Mike first approached CTW for training in 20011 as Jane had a vision of creating a business in the cleaning industry and thus providing employment for herself and her husband Mike.

Jane had recently been made redundant and was therefore able to access Welsh Government React funding for new business start-ups. At the time, both Jane and Mike had a limited knowledge of the cleaning industry, but after undertaking a series of training programs at CTW they launched their cleaning business “Chores 4U”, which then focused on the domestic market.

Jane and Mike have now expanded their portfolio into contract cleaning and have now launched their new business “Platinum Contract Cleaners” and have recently successfully tendered for some significant contracts in the Cardiff region. With the success of winning these contracts they are now recruiting their own staff.

I cannot speak more highly of a trainer; Antony was most informative and professional. If there were things we didn’t understand Antony took time to explain. The training was completed over a few days with plenty of time to ask questions along the way. Antony is always at the end of the phone even now 2 years on, if we have a question Antony will help and assist in any way he can.

If it was not for Antony we at Chores 4 u  / Platinum Contract Cleaners would not have grown into the industry with confidence. Knowing that we have the support of a first class trainer and fellow cleaning contractor has been a real blessing.
