UKCPAS Bio Hazard Qualification
This new fully accredited half-day qualification has been developed by CTW in association with UKCPAS and is a must for individuals or organisations that come into contact with potentially contaminated items.
This Bio Hazard training extensively covers Needle Awareness, Blood Bourne Viruses (BBVs), Pathogenic Bacteria, Routes of Entry and Transmission, Prevention and focuses on the control of Biological Hazards associated with blood and other body fluids.
The training is delivered through round table discussion with a series of highly informative slides; practical demonstration is also given in areas such as, quick and effective management of spillages and the safe handling and disposal of contaminated items and drug paraphernalia. All learners will then be asked to complete a Q&A to demonstrate the appropriate knowledge and understanding.
