Quality training is an investment that protects your staff, your business and your organisations reputation. We welcome and train learners who are employed or unemployed, with a key objective of up-skilling learners to get them into work or to improve skill levels of those already in employment.

This training program was specifically designed to give unemployed people new skills and confidence when attending interviews for grounds maintenance positions. We're very proud that this training program assisted 6 individuals into paid employment.

We plan to run a series of further training days this season, so please don’t hesitate to contact us at CTW for further information.

Training Feedback

"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for delivering the Foundation Certificate in Grounds Maintenance. The feedback from the clients has been superb, they found that the format of the day really worked, and they particularly enjoyed the hands on element in the afternoon. I know that a number of them have interviews arranged today with Gerald Davies so Im hopeful of success."

Graig Broady, Working Links

Follow up

"5 out of the 8 have been offered employment with Gerald Davies through the YCWIS scheme, which is fantastic; Ive also found 1 of the remaining 3 a position with a local contact centre (unrelated to grounds maintenance I know but still a start). All are due to start in April so have not signed off yet but they are all looking very promising.

So on that note it looks like 6 starts out of 8 which is a great result, the feedback from the clients has also been very good so thank you."
